I'm glad I saw this, I was going to get one b/c somehow I got a chip in the base plate and figured this would cover it, but I guess I'll pass now.

Thanks for the pics! I thought it covered the whole thing too. I was about to order one, but with a white car I'd want something to cover the whole base.
