Choosing between two Gt's
#21
I like the first one lol. Even though it's older and has more miles I like the clean look of it.
CS-IMO the wheels are gaudy and I don't like the xenon? hoodscoop. If you like it seems like a nice price for an 07

Of the two I would suggest the 07.
If you don't like the wheels you could at least sell them for more than what you could get for the stockers on the 05.
I have red interior and really like it, but most people don't. So you have to think about resell value on that issue. That's how I got mine for a steal.
The 07 is newer and it's a California Special edition (which adds a front lower fascia piece and rear facsia piece).
Why are you even considering the 05? IMO? And I say that with the most respect because as you can see, the 05 is exactly what I have (minus the auto transmission).

Thank you all, I was thinking the same things all of you are, the wheels are to much for me 07 and i would have to get rid of them. the 05 just seems fishy to me and im not sure i would really like the red if i had it. So thanks again you guys have really pushed me the way i was hoping you would (towads the CS) i have looked at it everyday for a few weeks but i keep finding other cars that i like an wondering if they would be better i am just glad i have support from you all

I have the red interior and I like it, it had to grow on me...But on a mechanical note...I have an 05 and have experienced a lot of mechanical problems. Apparently the 05 especially early production was a test year for ford and a few new technologies. For example the Variable Cam timing. By 07 I think they had most of the problems ironed out. So I would definitely go with the 07, if it's an early production 05 you'll make up the price difference in repairs.
