get the boy racer body kit and youll be happy


I saw the "racer kit " on a GT, white like the photograph...It makes the car look "bulky" / heavy. Plus the dealer wanted an additional 8 grand for it!!!

The lines of the Mustang GT and Mustang look great without all that stuff.

And the front end is aggressive and looks great.

Flowmasters might be fun too, but they are loud as heck to live with on a daily basis...

I agree...about thirty years. That's part of its allure IMO, it looks like it's growling, like a muscle car should look.

I do know what you mean by the rear end looking jacked up. That really turned me off to the 2005 when I first saw it. But something changed... was it me?
I have always felt Mustangs need to be lowered about 2 inches.

I had not noticed it until I came out of a restaurant and an '04 vert had parked right next to me. I was surprised at how much higher mine was in the back then his, and his was all stock, wasn't lowered.

I love the front of the '05, both the V6 and the GT. The "sad" comment may come from the shape of the headlights though, they kind of look like drooping eyes.
