Exclamation my car has a mind of its own.

OK. Im going to try to explain this the best i can. If anybody has ideas let me know. Stated early this morning. I was already at work. I decide to go and get somthing to eat. Double click unlock on my remote as i walk up. Try the door. Still locked. Hmmm. Double click again. Hear the door lock mechanisim. Try the door. Locked. Look inside the car, double click. Locks go up then slam back down. So i use the keyhole to open the car. About an hour later i am driving to my appointment my car came alive. Click click click click click click. locks going up and down on their own. Then they stoped. 20 seconds later did it again. I turned the car off but it still was doing it. Played with remote, keept going. Took battery out of remote, still going. Played with door lock on the door. Stil going. It started getting weaker, the locks going up and down. Then all i could hear is like the solinoid in the pasenger foot well clicking. Now if i park my car she likes to unlock herself. WTF. Any ideas? TSB's?

Aditional information. 2009 mustang gt 5-speed. Nothing instaled recently. Its cold and snowing. Everything else is working normal.

Sounds like something got wet... check the passenger foot well for water and take it in to the dealer for a checkup

I know alot of people here don't like the dealership, but I would definitely have them look at the solenoids in both doors to make sure nothing is damaged or needing to be replaced (since you said you heard them clicking).

+1 take it in! This could be the start of something bigger getting ready to go out on you.

You can always try disconnecting the battery for 15 mins or so.

I don't think the battery will work, it sounds like a wiring issue, but then again you never know until you try it.

Its a door lock actuator sticking. Fords have always had issues with these and I worked for Ford from 1996 to 2005, replacing many of these actuators under warranty.

i actually had something like that happen to me once, and it was after i thoroughly washed my car (but it happened like 30 minutes after i washed it). while i was driving, my door locks unlocked and locked about 5 or 6 times, and the trunk released itself (at least it didn't open). it's only happened once, so i'm not exactly sure what could have caused it.
