I bolted a 3.73:1 8.8 in my car as well for the same reasons ... by the time your price out the gears + T-Lok + install in the 7.5 it almost the same amount of money. FYI .. the 8.8 only weights 40 lbs more ...

congrats on ordering the 8.8 Keep us posted on the install and if you need any help installing it just let us know. Its a pretty simple swap.
