I can't afford to break anything if the car was inhibited by electronics/etc to keep me from doing it. If the car can handle it, I'm not going to break anything shifting like that.

I might have to get a short throw shifter though...it's a long way from 2-3 with the stock shifter.

I did it all the time when my car was stick. I'd powershift the car spraying nitrous on the blower, no problem! Just got to remember, if you miss a gear abort the run. Unless it's a money race!

I don't race like that anymore...I hardly race anyone at all.

The last 3 times my car has been over 100 mph it has just been me having fun with her...

I'm trying to get my affairs in order to apply to a few different police forces in the area, so I can't afford to be caught street racing.

I meant money race as in organized competitive events at tracks.
