Were your stripes just on the back or did they extend to the hood? How did you get them off?

The stripes still go along the whole top of the car but they end at the front of the hood and the end of the trunk lid.

For taking them off, I know i should have heated up the stripes but I just pulled on the edge and peeled it away. After that, I used goo gone on the whole back of the trunk
