Steeda Throttle Body Spacer??
Ive been browsing the steeda site tonight and i came across their throttle body spacer. Has anyone bought one of these or recommend buying one? My mustang is stock performance wise but i would like to get some more power without sacrificing economy. The site says a 2-4 hp increase as well as in increase in gas mileage. Can anyone share some info on this? if you could get more power and more economy why wouldn't ford just include this?
Also someone told me they add a sound similar to that of a turbo'd car, is that true?
edit:
also does anyone have pics of the Steeda Carbon Fiber High Flow Inlet Elbow installed? looks sick on the site but only 1 pic.
and im sure there are topics about both of these someone so go ahead and flame my laziness (its 4 am)

The claimed added HP gains from the Throttle Body spacer
are negated by the added weight of said Throttle Body spacer.
Its basically a cool paperweight.
The only strange sounds you will hear is the money leaving your wallet.

ANOTHER frickin' thread about the TB spacer. I guess the search feature isn't working again.
All hype. Sounds good on paper but it doesn't do what it claims. The only sound associated with it is that of the purchaser whining about wasting his time and $$.

Watch ebay real close for a few weeks, I just bought a JLT CAI and Xcal II for $245 shipped I'm gonna end up paying about $75 for a tune, but that is still dirt cheap. There was a member here that sold the same setup on ebay for about the same price.
Regardless, definitely do a CAI and tune first.

Definately don't waste your money. Add it to something that will give you more power. I added one just for the heck of it on the 05 I traded in and I didn't fell anything or any better fuel economy. I is definately a waste of time and money. The 4.6 already has the best air flow of any of the previous engines. The thing you need now is more air flow going in and the CAI/tune will give you alot of that short of turbos and super chargers.
