Default Two questions (glasspacks and pinted rims)

I would love to buy new DD Black rims for my car and a nice new exhaust setup but i dont have the money to spend at the moment.

So ive been thinking, i might paint my rims black. I saw a thread on here a while back where someone did it but the search function didnt find it for me so maybe someone could help me out?
I really hate the 100% black look, but the part where the spokes meet the lip is fairly smooth so im not sure how i could get a polished dish kinda look to it. If anyone has done their own rims please post pics or threads with info.

Also, my car is 100% stock performance wise but i kinda want to go louder (and more power one of these days)
Would buying glass packs be a bad idea? i listened to the video on the exhaust thread but didnt get a good idea of how they would sound on an otherwise stock car. Would there be alot of drone? im not even sure what drone is but it seems to be fairly annoying.

Glasspacks are usually resonators put on the exhaust pipes in the center of cars. I would assume that they sound like the pypes midmufflers. The pypes system is pretty loud and not much drone from what I've heard.

As far as the rims it's doable to paint them and I was interested in it but after seeing them they don't look as good as I though they would-my opinion

Ahh, that i didnt not know. The are the pypes an easy DIY bolt on or do i have to have my pipes cut and them welded in?

Do you have any other suggestions to making my car a bit louder/deeper without spending 500+?

Are muffler deletes/straight pipes street legal? id guess as long as it doesnt break sound limits. I think there is a clip that in the exhaust thread, ill have to check after school tommorrow, i gotta wake up at 6 am and its already 1:22. Job+college sucks. And the worst part, my car is at the dealership today and tommorrow. Diagnosing my problems getting into reverse, praying i dont have to pay $50 for the diagnosis if its "normal wear and tear"
