By the looks of the car in the field the phone call must have went like this. Hey Pah you'll never guess what happened to the Mustang after I saddled her up. All kidding aside I hope everyones alright.

It was a combination of: (1) the extra 5 hp from removing the vapor trap, (2) the extra trunk light 15 hp, and (3) the faster auto trans. Obviously it had way too much power for the driver to handle...

"Un-Freakin-believable!"

I feel real sorry for the guy... but $30K +/- and nothing but liability = One stupid bastaige.
I've never hit anyone or lost control and wrecked myself... (looking for wood) but I have been hit a couple of times.
It's the OTHER PEOPLE that get me. Just like my '94. If I didn't have insurance - I'd have been arrested for
beating the one that hit me.

Just seeing that car makes me [:'(] all over again. I was physically sick after mine got totalled.

There is a deputy or two and other EMS workers on here... but from my experience:
- less then 2000 RPM's at 60: He wasn't flying - at least at impact
- dirt all over: It rolled and/or flipped accounting for the ripped off wheels and body damage
- front airbag deployed: leads me to believe fence if not end over end (which is unlikely at that speed).

Lost it in a curve - probably swapping a CD or talking on his cell.

I could be wrong.. it's happened before.

What a mess. What a shame. I do think these are too much car for alot of people, but you never know, maybe it wasn't his fault. Maybe some moron cut him off, t-boned him, who knows. I've been driving since 1977 and have never had anything more than a minor parking lot ding, but I know some of that is pure luck. I am constantly aware of all the idiots out there. You not only have to drive your car but you gotta drive theirs too anticipating whatever incredibly stupid thing they might do.

My only regret in this life is that I have had to share it with idiots.

==dirt all over: It rolled and/or flipped accounting for the ripped off wheels and body damage ==

I figured he got rear-ended based on the enormous amount of damage to the rear, then was slammed into someone in front of him. It really doesn't look like it flipped or rolled, the roof is intact and the side glass is still in place. Rolled cars almost always have the roof shoved to one side and the side glass shattered.

==He only deals in 6-speeds... this one is an auto.==

Yeah, but it's a 6 speed auto

PW, did your car actually arrive? I've been having a chuckle at the fact that you must have the most number of posts on a Mustang forum of anyone that doesn't actually own a Mustang Congrats man!
