I've seen conflicting information on this. Some have said 2-ish more weeks of 05 builds while more believable info indicates first week of August will be the last build week of 05's. Can anyone speak to this?

I don't think my dealer (or anyone's for that matter) knows nearly as much as the guys on these boards do.

I was told Saturday by a salesmanager at a large dealership (at least for my area) that you couldn't order an '05 anymore. However, I know the build date is at least through the end of June because mine is scheduled that week. Anyone have a later date than week of the 27th?
NORMALLY, they shut down after the second week in July to re-tool (vacations, etc) and reopen the first week of August.
However, I've seen in several places where this year, '06 will start up August 8th... so maybe they're going through the 3rd
full week in July. Anyone have better info?

What I have seen on another forum where there are alot of Ford UAW guys is that on August 5th they stop 05 production. On August 8th, the 06 production starts. They don't have much in the way of retooling since both model years are nearly identical. The last order needs to be in the system by June 24th. If a dealer is not willing to order one for you, it is more than likely they are out of 05 allocations.
