Default Updated Water Leak TSB

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but there is a new TSB on the water leak that replaces the old one:

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/attach...7&d=1232736771

Sorry for the external link - I don't have online storage (anyone recommend a free, no-ad online storage site?), and the file is too big to upload here.

Thank you for the info. I had the leak and the dealer fixed most of it but once in a great while I still get a little bit of water under the carpet. This updated info. is good to have.

what where your problems? Ive notice that i have salt water(left a white residue from the roads) under the floor mat on the passenger side. its all over the bottom and makes its way but the right kick board. I don't know it was from careless passengers not fully kicking their feet off. But my side is fine. It didn't feel wet but next time i drive in the rain im going to look.

This may or may not be related but when i went through a car was it sounds as if water was boring in my car from the passenger foot area. Is that just where water drains?

Cool, now I can cram paper towels into the suspected water intrusion areas
and help me determine if it is cowl grommet, door path or wiring harness
on the passengers side. I do have the foam coming out of the passengers
side window weatherstrip retainer by the mirror. And I did find a cowl grommet
in my cowl drain. And the passengers side wiring harness rubber boot was not
installed correctly.
