"eloquent abrasiveness" isn't nearly as nice as a "good boy"......

i own a v6 and love my car to death. if i didn't get a paycut at work i wouldn't be thinking of selling her. there are a few issues but nothing a deal breaker. but regardless of v6 or GT, a CAI and tune is mandatory on these cars because not only do they give you more power but you lose the throttle lag. these mustangs are great, so you'll definitely love the car as long as you choose the right color

I live near Chicago, we get a good amount of snow,I sentenced my stock wheels to winter duty. never a problem, ever.
Winter Tires FTW, also I bought my gt used it , so trans choice was not a option, wasn't sure how I would like the autotragic , got my tune in there and WOW what a difference it now breaks the tires loose shifting into 3rd, 1st auto I had that would do that. just get one and order winter tires intake and tune, that should hold you over for a while.

Ok, perfect. That took care of that haha, but what do you guys like for exhuast? I'd prefer a full exhaust system (borla, corsa, etc) but any other suggestions? The most power? The sound?

The stock exhaust flows quite well so short of eliminating the mufflers and cats, you won't gain any power but CAN make her sound BAD ***. There are a lot of threads on exhausts and 10 times as many opinions. Read the stickies on exhausts. Lot's of good info there. And read peoples sigs. Most list what they're running.

I personally like the Borla (FRPP) Stingers. They DO drone at about 1600-1800 RPM but I usually cruise higher than that. There are variants of the Stingers, by Borla, that don't drone and are more mellow (but louder than stock).

Thanks, yeah I've been doing quite a bit of research but I figured while I have the chance to ask people personally, why not.

As was said before don't waste money on exhaust parts that don't really add anything. The improvement in the sound department of course is another thing all together. I have Mac Boomtubes on mine and they have the perfect sound to my liking.

Check out this vid, its a pretty good indication of the real sound.

becareful when doing exhaust, if you touch anything cat forward, it will void the warranty unless it is a ford product done by ford, aka $$$$$$$,
