What's the difference between the Rousch packages?

Just wondering what the difference in the packages was. Like stage 1, stage 2, stage 3. I raced a guy in a stage 2 today. I guess he thought he would win...but he lost.

stage 3 = http://www.roushperformance.com/mustang_st3.shtml

by the way, how do you like the evolution performance tune? how does it compare to brenspeed? wish i had 93 over here in cali, only 91.

Stage1 Roush is for people that like rough buttsecks...

I have a customer that paid close to $41K for an 05 Stage one! Back in 05 too!!
He might have been taken for a ride by the dealer but still...
He's still trying to sell that spotless car for less than $30K with 7000 miles on it, to no avail.

And the stage 3 is like $65K or something... Ouch!!

Strange, around here you can pick up a Stage 3 for somewhere around $40k

Well then, they must have adjusted their prices.
Which is good. Thanks the bad economy for that I guess, lol.

Haha I mean back in the day, most I've seen a Stage 3 go for was around $49k, I'm going to guess it's because your in Florida though? Who knows... I still think as far as out of the box awesome tuner Stang's the Roush is the best platform to start with if someone was so inclined.

Two years ago, I saw a black stage3 that sold for $65K!!!

Anyway, if I really wanted a Roush, I'd buy a $23K GT and build it like ON1FR did.

There's definitely a lot of room for improvement. And his car does look great!

+1 for building your own roush! its cheaper, i dont need the special signed and embroidered "Jack Roush" signature or any other interior part, i just want the outside look.

Sounds like a guy I work w/ that has a 2004 Saleen 281 vert. I think it's basicly like a stage 1 maybe 2 Roush in that it's all look w/o anything backing it up, possibly suspension work other then being lowered but that would be it. He is trying to just sell it for what he owes on it which is still around $23k. I'm quite sure he will be sitting on that car for a long time.....
