pascal, about 12 hours between pulling the one side back out twice to fix fitment issues, going to the store for cutoff wheels, smokin cigarettes, etc. i could do it in 6 if i had to do it again now that i know what to do. once i had the headers themselves bolted up the rest of the re-assembly went pretty quick.

07, people actually loose power with the bigger tb's? is that once they've been retuned for them? damn it man, 100 bucks for one seemed like a great deal

yeah there has been people who have seriously lost a few hp/tq
It has todo with the new ford TB's there actually very good and hard to improve on. also there has been isues with the stock electrics actually moving the blades properly and so on. The best way to get the most out of you oem TB is to set your rev limiter about 500rpm higher then you will be actually shifting at. Our TB starts to close as we aproach our "redline"

well i guess we're gonna see cause i went ahead and grabbed one for 100 bucks shipped. its a stock ford piece from a V10 and has the servo/motor thingy still attached so there should be no issues like some of the aftermarket ones have where you need to swap hardware over.

i talked with doug @ bamachips and he said no tune would be required.

btw, i took the car for a quick trip down the road and while the exhaust doesn't sound much different idling it definitely sounds better when you get on it. "butt dyno" says there is noticable improvement so i'm happy

Nice! Glad it seems to be working out for you. My butt dyno registered more torque also.
