I don't know.. my GTA's seem pretty loud.. maybe it's the xpipe?

As far as MACs go... they drone no matter what.. auto...manual.. either way you are going to get brain damage

Cats have a lot to do with volume. In my experience of stock manifolds, LT headers, catted x-pipes, and 4 different kinds of mufflers - the high-flow cats contributed more volume than anything else. I'd imaging no-cats (off-road) would be even louder.

So mufflers can and do make a difference in volume. But high-flow or no-cats makes the biggest difference. I was surprised about LT headers - they made the car only a little louder and changed the tone some.

True that! My head feels like it's going to pop when the drone kicks in. I ordered the GTA's today.

I just installed GTAs and they add just a touch more muscle sound without making things too loud. Not that I don't mind the noise, just wanted something a bit more than stock.

One thing about the GTAs... they are deceptively quiet in the cabin... they sound much louder outside the car... and they are definitely loud enough to set off alarms in a garage.

The last time I "let" my wife drive my car... it was really surprised when I watched her drive of... first.. because she gunned it (bama throttle response is great) and almost ran into traffic.. ;0 .... and also because I didn't realize how good those things sound.. nice and smooth with a little gurgle... and that's on a 6er.. I'm sure they are sex on a GT.

With the 3.73 gears.. there actually is a fair amount of cabin noise on the highway.. but its the good kind.. not drone.. just a nice note to remind you what you are driving.

The GTA were standard on the Shelby GT...not on the CS or Bullitt.

I just installed GTA mufflers a few days ago. Two thumbs up! Bought them from Ninosport for $299, including shipping.

Yeah ninosport all the way!
You won't find them cheaper anywhere.

They sent me one that got damaged in transit when I got mine,
and went above and beyond expectations getting me a new replacement ASAP.
And free ship and cheap prices, can't go wrong with them.

Sandman nailed the description.
They sound AMAZING outside the car.
Inside is so much like stock, you'll feel robbed, on the highway above 3k rpm, they sound amazing again.

I'm pleased, just would like some more db in the car.
Trying to amuse myself in this car, not impress people that hear my exhaust.
For that reason I might be selling them soon.

I think they're a great choice.

And they do get a little louder with use.

I had the macs on my car for 1 day and could not tolerate the drone any longer. They did however look pretty nice! I am now back with my slp loudmouths.
