Is it a good deal
 

I have been looking at my next car which is a 2007 GT/CS it has around 22000 miles on it and the guy wants 17600 for it which he said was less than he paid for it when he bought it on ebay from another guy in TEXAS

i checked the title and it came back clean but it only says it was registered once to a guy in texas and it is not registered under the guy im looking to buy it from

I guess i just want to know if ti is fishy or is it possible he just never registered it

I would definitely want to know why it's not registered under his name yet, that's strange.... But that is def. a good price

Price seems good as long as everything else checks out.

does the guy that have it have a used car business? or is it from a dealer? that could possibly explain the title issue. The price sounds fair enough.

I dont know but what he told me is he bought it for his cousin and his cousin couldn't take it so he got stuck with it and didnt want to register ( i think it had something to do with taxes) so he had a buddy put a "in transit repair plate on it" or something like that

good price as long as its really his car and it wasnt stolen sounds funny but he could be telling the truth

Thats what i was thinking at first I bought the story butthe more i think about it it just seems weird but he was a nice guy and wasnt trying to hide it and he says he has the title. I dont know

make sure he has the title in hand. ask to see it
