So either i read/did something wrong or the guys at ford are retarded. They told me that the gt/cs accessory bumper was just the bottom part and that it would go over my gt bumper. So they order the $500 bumper instead of the $350 accessory cs bumper. Did i get ripped of? Im thinking that if they are wrong, its because they saw the pic where the bottom is all black and thought it must be just that part.

They are retarded! GT/CS accessory bumper is the "full" bumper there is no lower part. And yes you got ripped off. Go see the sales manager and have them refund you your money or pay you the diffrance between the accessory bumper you wanted and the GT500 one. The whole bumper comes black from the factory and the "ONLY" diffrance between the GT/CS and the GT500 bumper is they paint the lower half for the GT/CS that they leave black on the GT500. Besides that it is the very same bumper, I know this because I got this info from a "Ford parts dealer" who works at a Ford dealership and did not want people getting ripped off. Also, I have the GT/CS/GT500 bumper on my car and when I ordered it I order the accessory bumper.

no sirs, you have it all wrong. I used to own a GT/CS and the GT500 bumper is different than the CS bumper. The texturing on the GT500 bumper diffuser is different than the GT/CS bumper when both are unpainted. This means painting a GT500 bumper will cost more than the GT/CS and be harder to get right.

So sorry but its you that is wrong here. That "texturing" your talking about comes on the GT/CS bumper just like the GT500 bumper. How do I know this? Because I ordered one, this one right here: ($355.00 6R3Z-6320049-BA GT/CS & Shelby Gt Accessory Rear Bumper). Notice how its states: "GT/CS & Shelby GT" that's because its the very same bumper. Shadow7874, buy the accessory bumper, have it painted the way you want it. Once painted the texture lower half blends right in with the rest of your paint. Don't beleave me? Check out the pictures of my car with it on and painted. Trust me its the very same bumper period. And "no" it did not cost me any more money to have it painted like a GT/CS bumper.

Here is some pic's of that very bumper (with the textured sides) the texture is so fine that the paint pretty much fills it in as you can see. Everything below that lower line you see on the bumper is textured.
