I was thinking about what you said about loosing the adjustabilty, well i thought about it and saw you wrote it too. I think another option i could to that wouldn't envole messing with the MGW would be to just weld the hurst arm to about a 2-3" section of about 1/2' round stock(what ever the width of the shift arm is). THat way i can still have unlimted adjustabilty and i never touched the MGW. If it doesn't work right ill just but the stock MGW arm in. Id just have to make sure the weld is STRONG. Id keep the stock MGW arm in the glove box
your call man, its your car! thats the beauty of it. do what you like. I just wanyed to give you another easier option.
good luck and i hope it turns out well for you

I think you are onto something as that would be the ideal set-up. Wonder if MGW ever though of offering an optional arm that would allow you to bolt any stick to it.
Now back on topic... my return is paying off my SC!
My next mod will be a mgw short throw, but the BEST mod that anyone can do is CAI/tune. Specially for 300-400$!! I ended up paying 350 for tuner and 350 for intake, and it was well worth it. I wish I would have shopped used! Do the tuner/CAI and you will not regret it
