Default Engine Wouldn't "Turn Over"

I never had a problem with my Mustang GT, except for an alternator going bad, but today I went to turn the key in the ignition and it would not "turn over." I had the hood up and saw the Whipple pulley move then stop. After turning the key "ehh ehh ehh ehh ehh ehhhhhhh" the engine would not start.

So I tried my remote start to see if that made any difference and the car hesitated and white nasty smelly smoke came out of my tail pipes. It sounded like my car wanted to start when the remote start tried twice but it failed to start. I didn't want to sit there and keep grinding on the ignition. I waited about 30 minutes and it sputtered and slowly started up with the smelly pure white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipes.

It seems to run fine now, but I wonder what happened?

There were no problem codes or check engine lights appearing.

I'm not as knowledgeable about engines/etc as most of you are so any insight into what I should be looking for would be helpful.

I got a Whipple HO kit installed about 1 week ago.
I'm only running about 7 lbs of boost with the big-*** pulley dyno-tuned to 400 rwhp.

Most likely a tune related issue.

Who did your tune?

ok keep an eye on your engine
coolant reservoir level. if you notice
the level dropping over time, there
may be a problem.

also watch the intercooler reservoir,
to make sure it's staying at exactly
the same level.

what ever it is causing the hard starts and white
smoke, i'm sure it's something very minor.

Evolution Performance did the install and dyno tune.

They mentioned something about flooding the engine OR the injectors were still full with fuel from the day before when I drove it (maybe I misunderstood what the hell they were saying) OR something to do with FORD's engine shut-off management if the correct key wasn't in the ignition. I've used the same key to turn my car on since I bought it off the showroom floor. Then they told me it could be a module going bad for my remote start. Everyone wants to blame something else.

Throttle position sensor (TPS) its a common problem.

the white smoke could be a bad injector

My installer did mention possible condensation, so you could be correct.

I never found antifreeze to smell like that. It was very nasty and strong...who knows.

So I started my car up again today and the engine started and hesitated (spitting out exhaust) for a few seconds but ran strong and consistent after that.

It seemed to be a very strong sour smell.

It definately wasn't sweet smelling.
