h and x question
#4
OO they say there is they say h makes the power low and x high. They still dont add much. I like the sound of a x-pipe its more raspy and the h will have more throaty sound to it. Also depending on which mufflers to makes them sound better or worse.

o/r h = deeper
o/r x= (raspier)
i have had both, and i personally like the o/r x with midd mounted flows.......i need to post a video on that. my newest creation!
hp wise, about the same....no SOTP feel either way, just whatever sound you are trying to achieve. good luck

The power difference between an H and X-pipe is negligible. H pipes are much easier to find a axleback setup that sounds good.
I have an O/R X-pipe with stock mufflers and my car sounds like a damn tractor at low revs.
From what I've gathered, X-pipes sound best when used with flow-through mufflers such as Borlas' or Corsas'. X-pipes sound best with chambered mufflers like flowmasters.
