I put peddle covers on my old stang and I just left them onthe parcel shelf in the middle of summer in FL. Went outside and they slipped right on, but I about burned my hand on them.

My GT came with the GT500 pedals from the factory. But the little rubber pieces started to tear off depending on the shoes I was wearing. That pissed me off to no end, so I went with Steeda Pedals. They had to be drilled on. But they look fantastic!

I had no trouble installing mine. Just soaked them in some hot water for 5 mins and they slipped on pretty good...

One of these helps too

Hell, I did not have any of those issues with mine at all. I took them right out of the box and sliped them right on.

Get a hook tool or make your own. Take a coat hanger and make a hook out of one end. It worked for me and took about 10 min. to do all three. The gas pedal is held on with two sided tape.

Timely thread. I just bought some today. I'll keep all your suggestions in mind.
