Default New CDC Pedals.. PITA install!

so I recently decided to do a few subtle interior mods and I began with the CDC Pedal replacements.. I had no idea it was going to be the biggest PITA I've experienced with mods to date.. It took me just a few seconds to slip off the original brake and cluth pedals.. but it took me well over 45 minutes to get the replacements on.. and yet after all that struggle, there is still one side on each where the rubber wrapping isn't wrapped around as it should be.. but it'll do! The overall feel is much better and feels much "sturdier". I hadn't even realized my original clutch pedal had ripped..

before..

after

The GT500 pedals were the same way but I got them on with some cussing and strong hands!

Wow, I'm glad I didn't have that much trouble with mine! I'm assuming you heated the rubber beforehand?

Man, I didn't have any problems installing my GT500 pedals. If I was you I'd keep trying. You don't want one of them to start to slip off while your driving it!

I have the factory pedal covers on my car since I have the premium interior package and after 15k miles the clutch pedal rubber came off. It was replaced under warranty cause a new pad cost $65.. Of course the dealer did not get it all the way on and I had to re install it. It was a pita. If I was a frail person there would be no way I could have gotten it on lol
