Okay, so I was wondering if any of you cats out there with clear or smoked corners would mind taking a short video of your turn signal flashing during the day so I could get an idea of how close it is to stock. I purchased smoked turn signals a while back and put them in with the "stealth" bulbs and to my dismay the lens did not light up at all.

I could see the filament and if looking directly at the lens you could make out some yellow, but if you were above it looking down, you would not know the turn signal was functioning. The lenses looked awesome, but I couldn't deal with the lack of a turn signal so I sent them back, however I have heard some people telling me their experiences have been much different with these bulbs and I am beginning to wonder if I got some faulty "stealth" bulbs.

So in conclusion if anyone would care to share their thoughts on the matter I would appreciate it, and I would love it if someone would go do me a favor and take a video of what their clear/smoked turn signals look like during the day. If they light up the lens enough, I am going to put them back on. Thanks,

Sounds like its the bulbs...I can get you a vid tomorrow morning if you still need it.

I went with some Silverstar turnsignal bulbs, same as Stealth bulbs, only cheaper

well...truth be told that's what I got. I didn't order them from stangmods, I got them from silverstar... very odd.

So no one else has experienced this? Do most of you feel that your turn signals fuction like stock after the lens replacement?

I got smoked signals from stangmods and they are ao dark that I barely see the light with the mirror bulbs. I just put some regular yellow bulbs in and now it's ok. The covers are so dark that you don't even see the yellow through when the light is off.
