My friends GT500 with the new Kenny Bell SC @800 rwhp. has one from BBR and he has not had any problems with it. He has so much hp he didn't see any gains from driving on the street, because of hooking up but it show @ 20 hp on the dyno.

It wont really help weight transfer as the weight you are shedding is middle of the car back but it will help with rotational mass. It will help the motor rev faster and feel lighter. It will free up some hp but not 20, remember that number is from a 800 hp car.
on a normal bolt on car ive heard about the 8hp mark. give or take a bit. remember you will gain a bit from the 20 some lbs your shaving from the fatty and every bit helps. the biggest gain IMO would be to get rid of the damn two piece clunk from the oem
If your lowered you need an adjustable upper to set your pinion angle properly. and there have been some vibration issues... you may have to fiddle with the install to get it just right. also tq limiters on the trans and motor mounts can also help...

anyways hope it helps

If you get the spydershaft its 4 inches and tapers down to a 3 inch. Cars that are lowered will be fine. I have seen this drive shaft in many lowered car with no problems.
