Default There goes my bonus! But thanks.

Well, thank you to alot of the people on here that helped me make my decision, especially to Radiating, cause even though I gave him a hard time, he found me a AMAZING deal on tires. This is what you guys steered me into:

2 P255/45ZR-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar In Stock $136.00
2 P285/40ZR-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar LL In Stock $170.00

Name Code Qty Each
Black 2005+ Deep Dish Bullitt Wheel (18x10) 2 $164.99
Black 2005+ Deep Dish Bullitt Wheel (18x9) 2 $144.99
Universal Mustang TPMS Sensor Mounting Band and Bracket (Set of Two) 76105 2 $29.99

Figure this should give me alot better grip considering i'm rolling on stockers right now. Next big investment.... Have to wait till tax returns but heres a hint, the sig is leaning toward it.

So got to say, havent got the items yet but I am really happy with my pruchase already. Reason being, I took my mom for a ride today, wanted to show her the 4.10s now that I got some miles on them and they were wore in. Now its cold up here so I didnt expect to get traction from a launch, but had just drove 35 miles, figured they would be warm enough to handle my normal 1st gear pull. Pretty much do it with her evey mod that goes on, as shes the one that got me into mustangs (grew up in her 95 stang, now shes got a 09 Bulitt.) Anyway, got on to the clearest straight road in her town, straightened it out while rolling onto the road from the light, stayed in first, and as soon as I was straight on the road, rolled hard into the throttle...... Spun through all of 1st gear in about 1/3 a second... spun into second and head to feather the thottle hard to get it to hook up. It was pulling pretty good but was in 3rd before I really had any traction. Oh well, you get the idea. Thanks again to all involved.

Hows the traction on those goodyears? Thats a great price. Im dumping these BFGoodrich comp t/a's asap. ****tiest so-called performance tire on the planet. You would expect to get SOME traction with a 295 tire. Nope, i think they are just as worthless as the stockers. I dont get traction till 3rd either, and the rear end slips out at 70mph if i downshift and go. Its pretty bad. Lol sorry for the rant.

P.S. I see you have 4.10s, aren't you worried about going with a twin screw?

just noticed your little thing under your sig, we should start a "summer 09 FI crew" so we can put it in some random color under our sig.

All right! They got here today, getting them installed this afternoon. $100 for mount, balance, install, including grabbing the old TMPS sensors from the old wheels is a decent price right?

Well they look mean. Hopefully I will get some pics tommorow. Havent been able to mess around and see if I can hook up with them yet, as its cold and theres still alot of wet spots on road from runoff, and where there not wet there covered in sand. Anyway, I'll keep you guys informed. They feel pretty good as far as ride goes. Not alot of road noise or anything, and I feel like I feel more of the road in my wheel now.
