telephone order status system - robot lady
I ordered my 05 GT on May 11 and it is still showing clean and unscheduled. When I call the dealer hotline, it says if you want further information to say "analyst" to speak with an analyst. Has anyone did this? Does the analyst provide you with any additional information on your build date? Let me know. Thanks!

How do you prove that you work for the dealership? Do they ask any specific questions? I wish my dealer would call this number and find out what is going on with my build date.

They will ask you for the same information the robot lady asks, but they will first ask you if you are a dealer or customer. Say customer and they cut you off...say dealer and they will ask you for the dealer specifics, etc....Name, location, dealer code...and then will give you the status.

I was anxious and wanted my build date (like everyone else does). I talked with the lady on the other end of the line. She asked me if I was with a dealer and I said no, I had just got this number online. She replied that she needed my name and I gave it to her. Then she said that she was sorry but that this line was for dealers only and that she was disconnecting the line and hung up. Well I was in a panic now and I thought that I might have done something bad. I called the Ford customer hot line and explained what happened. The lady on this line apologized for thr way the other lady had treated me and she asked if I had a VIN number which I gave her. She replied that she showed the car going on line the week of 6/6. I was at the dealer tonight and they said the car is being delivered the week of 6/18 YEAAAH!. Then she actually sent an apology to my local dealer explaining that if I had any complaint that it was Ford's fault not the dealer. They really went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I can't say enough good about FORD! Atleast for me they have been great.

j/k, I had the same problem, but the women wasn't rude. I just called back and trid the robot lady again. If you want some real fun try speaking the VIN to the automated system. It never comes out right no matter how clearly to speak.
