Mine are a little gapped, but it's so hard to tell with black.

It honestly doesn't look that bad on your car.

i have the same exact problem. Someone said that you can fix it if you glue the top and bottom portion of the clear light.

D*** you deekum!!! I saw this thread and didn't think anything about it, and I was working on my car today and noticed mine do the same thing. This will drive me crazy....

deekum, it's a SUPPPPER easy fix. I felt like a 2 year old tard kid when I fixed it.. don't be pissed, it's not the lenses. I bought the same exact ones.
What happend is on the outter part where you have the 2 tabs, I lifted the edge up when I pulled the old ones off and that kept the lenses raised. Mess around with the reinforcment brackets and they'll fit right in.. Believe me, I stayed with them like that for 2 monhts thinking I bought faulty parts, but when I did the GT500 front end conversion I found out why. lol

Just mess around with them, don't put double sided tape. I did, and it looked like crap.

The easy way to do it is to get that liner off to get a good view and look towards the outer clamp area. There are two plastic pins that hold the lens in.

On mine the lens was not sitting right on the clamp. truth be told, when I was at the body shop installing the new buper I kept stressing over the fact that they still sat like crap on the new bumper. And my buddy looked at it and within seconds showed me the problem..

so here's what you do. Your lens when clamped on sits a bit over the lip of the bumper. Squeeze it under that lip and problem solved. just takes a little messign around with it but trust me it's the fix. I wish I had pictures to show you what I'm talking about, it would make things much easier.

But look at the reinforcment bracket on the outer edges of the bumper and take a look at how your lenses sit on there.. You will spot the problem.

thanks ill take a look at it i think i know what your talking about, did you take the whole liner out or just the 3 screws thanks again for the help
