Never actually seen the wire,

I got the info from this site:
http://rostra.com/cruise-control.htm

On the right side click "search application guide" and select your vehicle

The wire color is supposed to be white/orange

That site is junk.... calls for the same wire for an 04 as well. DO NOT use this info... its incorrect.

Also... the new Stang is elect. speed control.. Im not even sure there is a VSS wire, may have to look for a OSS wire. I'll get more info tmrw, im gonna go to bed now.

I'm looking forward to the answer to this also. The Eclipse AVN5435 will not provide voice guidence without the cable hooked up.
