Congrats on the 08. I have the 2nd to 3rd grind, but only when the temp is cold and the trans is cold. It grinds once when the trans is cold, after that its okay. My Bullitt has no rattles, and I don't have the HID so I can't help you there.

Gratz I have had my 2008 Bullitt for about 2 and a half weeks now and 0 issues its solid as a rock and I love it. Enjoy it man!
