NCMustangman has the sweetest car here with the Steeda hood, the louvers and wheels. That is by far the best looking Mustang I've ever seen. Anyway to talk about color I love black that is what I have but the paint chips can be seen and a drop of water can ruin its perfect appeal. However when clean even with paint chips its beautiful. NCMustangman where did you buy that wax?

I did want the GT when I went in early April but my dealer was telling me they could order one and I may or may not get a 2005 GT. I was not willing to wait. The only Red V6 they had was a vert and I did not think it was worth an extra $7,000. I saw the modifed Black V6 in the showroom, thought it looked great, wrote a check for it and drove it home. I do love the black finish and while a very small part of me does I still covet the GT, I am 99% satisfied with my V6. Mine is unlike any other 2005 I have seen and that is a nice position to be in. With the billet grill, the Steeda hood and the black paint it has a predatory look to it from the front view. Color is a very personal choice and I'm sure we all think our color is the best of the bunch.

Thanks Livnbig! Now... if I could find some steel braided covers for all of that nest of wires and tubes... get some anodized red and blue. Some custom color radiator hoses too. That would be sweet!

I say go with the black. Pain to keep clean, but so sexy when it is.

Thanks for the nice comments Daniel60. With all the beautiful 2005's on the forum it means a lot than even one member thinks my car looks "sweet." I highly recommend the wax if you have a red, black or another dark color car. Well worth the price. Here is the link for the Pinnacle Souveran wax is use. I put the fifth coat last night. It is one of the few car care products I have purchased that has lived up to the hype. It looks like you can reach into the paint. I let my boss use it on his dark green Lotus and he thought it did an amazing job as well. Thanks again for the kind words Daniel60.

I'm partial to black... but you have to make your own decision!

PS My car is extremely dirty from the German winter!
