Default Dyno Results...

I had my car dyno tuned a while back after I got my mods installed.

Do these results sound right for an Auto w mods in my sig? 1/4 time in sig too...

272.26 RWHP, 275.4 RWTQ

Isn't RWTQ normally about 20 higher than RWHP on a n/a car...?

I am asking because I am not sure if the guy in the car while they did the pull knew exactly what he was doing. I know you are supposed to do the pull in 4th gear.

edit:
Forgot to add, I have a set of 4.10's coming. If I remember correctly I read those will lower dyno #'s a bit but how much?

Based on the mods in your sig....I would bet that they did the dyno run in 3rd gear and not in 4th gear like they should have. You should be over 300 RWHP/TQ IMO with those mods or your car was severely detuned from the factory. Did the car feel faster after the mods? (regardless of what the numbers say on the dyno). Considering the stock times at the track for a GT are like 13.4 or 13.5 I think your track time is fine and the 60ft time if improved could easily get you into the 12's. That said either your an extremely great driver (which your 60 time says otherwise) and you achieved what most cant achieve with 272 RWHP which was 13.082 in the 1/4...so the mods had to yield more HP and TQ then a stock GT.

For myself I had 270 RWHP with just the CAI and no tune....after the S/C see numbers in my sig.....

So what I am trying to say is the guy or the dyno is wrong!!!!!!!!! I say human error and he did the run in 3rd.....anyone?

Yeah seems a little low to me and yes RWTQ is generally about 20 higher than RWHP.

I dyno'd 283 rwhp and 299rwtq with just a cai and tune.

From your mods I'd expect to see about 290-300 RWHP. I concur that the dyno #'s don't seem to jive with your times. I wouldn't worry too much about the dyno. Perhaps see if they'll do it again or find another shop.

With just my CAI and Bama tune, I made 282HP and 280 ft lbs, and my car was running too rich at the time. I haven't had it dynoed since I had Doug at Bama adjust my tune. So I'd say your numbers are a little low, especially considering that you have LT's

Did you only have 280rwtq because you were running rich?

Not really sure, I haven't had it back to the dyno since. I've also added a few other mods since then. I guess I need to go have it dynoed again.

I'd say they sound a little low. And Torque is usually a good amount higher but not always. My tq is 7 higher than my hp. The 1/4 time sounds good, but I think you should be able to break 12's with practice. 4.10s should spice things up!

I am not taking offense to this, but isn't a 1.969 considering the car is auto and stock tires, no gears or suspension mods actually above average?

Yeah the more I think about it I am thinking they did the pull in 3rd gear... but how can you do the pull in 4th gear with an auto? It's also making me wonder if my tune is off.
