I second that.
You already have 3.73s like you said so it's not worth it to switch to 4.10s.

For 1k you should be able to get a CAI, UDP's, and a tune, installed. With 3.73's no need for 4.10's. If you shop around you could probably pick up a set of shortie headers also.

Well for one, its much much lighter than our stock one...better acceleration, smoother ride, no vibration at higher speeds.

nitrous and drag radials and install yourself.

tires = ~$200 each
nitrous = ~$550 for the kit

Well first off, it will give you peace of mind to know that it wont "explode" on you at high speeds like the stock two peaces. Also it’s about 15-20 pounds lighter then the stock one which will give you better acceleration, a smoother ride and also get some more HP to the rear wheels.

a one piece drive shaft is a good option, but at the track, drag radials would be more noticable in your E.T.'s. you can have all the power in the world and the lightest drivetrain parts available, but if you cant hook up off the line, it's all pretty much useless.

tires would be the best performance gain if you go to the track alot.
get a set of rims and DRs just for the track and you can pick up as much as a half a second!
as for DD i would probably save it for cams...
if your a bullet you already got an intake and even the best would only pick up like 5 more hp
If you want to spend less then a grand for sure i would just get a good one pice DS and if you got leftovers sure add udps...
its your car and get what you want but cams i would go hot rods... no power loss anywere and gain some good power up top too
