and some used cars are going up in price because new cars are too expensive these days and people can't get financed. The demand for used has gone way up

Unfortonatly the trade-in values on S197s has stayed low and gotten lower.

Best bet is to do a private sale to unload your old mustang.

As for the original poster, I have a bit more advice: Look for dealer demos. A 1 year old Dealer demo with say 5 or 6k miles on it with almost no paint scraches can go for up to 10k less then a new car and have absolutely no issues.
