My thoughts on Steeda UDP's/CMDP's

Yeah I am definately glad that I did the T-Stat change. Just for piece of mind as the stock coolant gauge really does nothing until you are screwed over and on the side of the road. Make sure you drain a decent amount of coolant from the bottom of the radiator before you open the housing for the T-Stat and you should be good.

Well, it doesn't really matter I guess if you wait or do the separate. It's not like doing CMDP's and you might as well swap the T-Stat since the manifold is off the motor. The CMDP's and UDP's are on different areas in the engine so doing them together or separate makes no difference in labor. Now if it were me, I would wait and do them together so you get more of the effect and a more noticeable change and increase in horsepower. Goodluck on your install once you get around to it!

My reason for doing CMDP's and UDP at the same time was because both mods will only give you a minimal increase in power. By doing them together you'll notice a bigger before/after difference.

I, like almost everyone else, went with the economy plates, the only difference is that the billet plates have provisions for direct port nitrous injection if you choose to. The oconomy plates are bigger then the runners on the intake manifold as it is. Increasng their size in the billet ones is useless...
