how do you remove the "anti-door ding" strip

A friend of mine got a new mustang and it has that strip on it. How do you remove it?
Its the strip on the door

Here is a picture of what im talking about.

Use some fishing line...should come right off.

No problem...I had those too. Make sure you use alcohol or some sort of adhesive remover to get rid of any sticky stuff thats left over.

I took mine off on a hot summer day (makes it easier to remove and you wont need a heat gun then) and a 97 cent fishing line from Walmart.

You might want to do the passenger side first. I know on some of the dodge chargers when you removed the strip it left a ghosting effect that you could not buff out.
