I don't think a cutout right after the manifold is a good idea. Backpressure anyone??? You can however rig a cutout right after the crossover pipe or if you could fit it, right before the mufflers like you wanted.

As far as cutouts the electric one's are nice and convienent but the motors seem to fail pretty often.

Haha I could imagine you see a cop your like ok time to close the cutout's you hit the switch and they don't close and you end up screaming past the cop since the cutout wouldn't close HAHA

what about back pressure? are you talking about a tune or what? thats the problem i picture with a cutout before the cats is tune, as we know you need a tune for O/R x or h pipe, that would be about 2 feet of straight pipes dumping out right under the drivers seat, and passenger seat i think that would sound like garbage
