Driveshaft with Adapter Plate
Make sure rear control arms are set to factory lengths.
1. Make sure all mating surfaces are clean and free of old loctite, rust and debris.
2. Select 2 opposite mounting holes and install a dry (no loctite) hex head bolt in each hole to mount adapter to existing pinion flange. Bolts should be tight but not torqued at this point.
3. Put a small amount of loctite on the 4 remaining hex head bolts and install them, torque them to 41 Ft-Lb.
4. Remove the 2 original dry hex head bolts, put a small amount of loctite on them and re-install them, torque them to 41 Ft-Lb.
5. Install the driveshaft with the accordion boot towards the front of the vehicle. Put a small amount of loctite on the original 12 point transmission flange bolts, re-install them and torque to 76 Ft-Lb.
6. Install the new 12 point rear mounting bolts, these are nylon patched and do not require loctite, torque them to 41Ft-Lb.

thank you! we got it done but the weather turned bad with cold so we thought it was better to cancel the test drive last nite due to possible ice on the roads. we torqued the rear bolts to 41 and the front with the slip yoke to 76.
