Default Tire brands and sizes for 20's?

I'm going to order a set of 20" TSW Cadwells in gunmetal tomorrow at a local wheel shop. Any suggestions on what tires and sizes to get? I was thinking of Kumho tires in 255/35-20 and 275/35-20. Would this be a good choice? How about Sumitomo HTR Z III? Thanks!

I know I've said in the past that I wouldn't get 20's because of their cons but after seeing a lot of pictures of stangs on 20's I just have to get some for myself. I can live with the cons of 20's.

Size--------Lip Depth
20x8.5--------2"
20x10---------3.5"

nice looking wheel. I have TSW lagunas on mine in the same size. running 255/35's
on front 295/40's on back with BF Goodrich KDWs had for a year good tread wear & good
wet weather tire. if your lowered you will probably need 35's on rear as well

Yes I'm lowered so 40 series probably wouldn't work for me. I know some people have 30 series but later wished they had 35's due to ride harshness. That's why I'm trying to stay with 35's I guess. 275/35(rear) is about the only size I can find that's within a reasonable price range. If I went with say...285/35(rear), then I'm looking at over 300 bucks per tire. Can someone tell me if 30's are really that harsh? A lot of people seem to have 35's in front and 30's in back. Would it really make a difference having 35's in back instead, as apposed to 30's?

I have Nitto NT555 255/35/20 and 275/35/20. If I were to go to 285 or greater in the back, I would go with 285/30/20s. The overall diameter is very close to stock. 285/30/20 is shorter than stock by .5" in diameter, 285/35/20 is .7" taller than stock. 275/35/20 is .4" taller than stock, and 295/30/20 is .2" shorter. Unless you really need every bit of traction, save your money and get 275/35/20s.

I have TSW Nogaro 20" with Falkens. I'm very happy with their performance in the rain and recent snow we've had. I have noticed increased road noise however.

I guess I'll go with Nexen N3000 tires 255/35-20(front) and 285/30-20(rear).
So has anyone gone from 30's to 35's in the back and noticed a difference?
Also, would 285's on a 10" rim with +40 offset have a clearance issue? I know some people have 285's on a 10" rim but not sure what offset they're running.

265/35-20 for the front if it will fit on your rim. It is .1" off from the stock 17" tire size.
