Default Questions about mustang

I know a popular mod for the mustang is to add stripes. But i was wondering if its possible and how much it would cost to add the additional headlights that come in the GT for a non-GT. I really want to have those because it looks better. I am planning on getting the non GT, add those 2 additional headlights with xenon, mod the original headlights to xenon, add stripes, and larger 17inch wheels.

I basically want something that looks like the GT with stripes but without the V8 and suspension... not enough money for GT.

Was wondering how difficult it would be to get these done. I'm not sure if its a popular modification to the nonGT

For the price of the Xenon kits you could nearly get a GT! ( that was a stab at the pricing on the Xenon kits, not at you getting a V6 ).
There are tons of guys in the V6 forum that have done the grille foglight conversions. Doesn't appear to be too terribly hard. As for pricing, ebay is flooded with kits and they are relatively cheap ( couple hundred bucks ). Just make sure you get a kit specifically for a V6 and not get a GT grille. They do not fit the same.

You can spend the price difference on a GT vs. a V6 with out breaking a sweat so be careful. I speak from experience. Mustang mods are like any other addiction, once you do one, you want to do another and another and another. If buying the V6 was a cost decision for you (as opposed to an availabilty issue for me personally), I caution you to choose wisely. You may start with a $500 budget and wind up spending $5,000. Any way you go you are going to love the new Mustang! Enjoy.
