what are the real differences between the econo plates (http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...ion_plates.php) and the billet ones (http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...ion_plates.php)? are the econos just recasted without the butterfly (i.e. molded so the spaces where the butterfly is originally installed isn't there), or is it possible for us to take our oe plates and remove the butterfly?

If you wanted to be a budget modder you could modify your stockers. For what I paid wasn't really worth it. You would have to thread the hole where the bar controlling the valves goes and plug them, then smooth them out. I don't think the econo plates are oem recasts because of the size difference. The big difference between them and the billets is price and size. The billets also have an adapter for nitrous.

Haha only trying to help man. And to reply to one of your earlier posts J, you need that black diamond, and a steeda pulley upgrade to compliment it nicely of course.

The charge motion plates are a restriction even when they are open.

I'd get rid of them.
