It's a '65, and quite a popular one, at that. Probably because it's one of the few high res 1st gen pics on the web. Looks like they changed the wheels when they chopped it for the clock.

Wow, that's damned cool. Now I know where the pic on the clock came from.

Speaking of those years, there's a '66 coupe, white with blue stripes, on a used lot near me. I have no idea what it looks like under the hood and the lot was closed when I stopped. Looking inside, the seat belts are wide as hell and there are gauges everywhere. The side scoops look stock (welded and the welds painted matching the white paint) and there are holes drilled in the body when you look inside the scoops (air flow?). The sign says $16,000.
