I had Pypes O/R H and Flows, switched back to stock mufflers and it sounded better. It was raspy and not clean sounding. Then I sold the Pypes and went back to completely stock for awhile but didn't like how the stock converters killed the power. Now im running Bassani catted X with stock mufflers and like it so far ....

Yea, the flows don't sound clean-it's raspy but I personally hated the sound of the stockers with a catted X back when I had the Bassani X

I'm running Flows with SLP LTs and x-pipe with hi-flow cats. The link below was before I busted the cats and had them gutted and welded up. I get compliments all of the time about how it sounds now. I love it.

Every one seems to have different opinions. I want to stick with the flowmasters so what is my best option to make it loud but not sound like crap.

Well I have done some more research and reread your comments and I think I'm going to go with the h pipes. How much is it to get pipes installed?

Free if you do it yourself! 1-2 Hr install tops for a first timer.

LARRY,

If you want louder than go with Boomtubes. Problem solved and they sound very good! Oh they wont drone as much as the flows.
