Can you get 16"s over the brake calipers on a GT?

I have some on my sons 2003 V6, they are the Goodyear Nascar 1 (16's tho), but the last time I went into Discount Tire they told me that Goodyear was not going to make them any more. Which is sad because a nice set of RWL tires would realy set off the retro look of our S197s. I have seen the pen but have not had the ***** to try it yet.

They still make them, confirmed. The yellow letters have been gone for a while tho.

There is a company out there that will take your tire and make it a white or red letter, I do not have the name. My boss has done this before. I believe it was about 100 a tire.

Fister, great patience, those turned out awesome.

I had searched this many moons ago, debating whether to add to my retro theme. Ended up against them, but here are some examples, not my car, sorry I can't give credit where credit is due...

I have the same car, different angle, lol

But ya, those are the 225/60/16 ones. I guess the V6 guys got an advantage!
