OK, I did my due diligence and I've searched, Googled, etc.. to no avail - so now I have to ASK:

I'm planning to bring my Roush up from FL to MA next month. Does anyone know what the MA Emissions test consists of? And if you have an "off-road" exhaust system HOW do you get thru inspection?

OK you guys - I just called a local "speed shop" and they told me that here in MA, the emissions test is NOT a problem because they don't use a "sniffer" - they just look to see if the engine's computer is throwing a code.. if not, they assume it's all good!

So I'm all set...

I don't think that is how it works. Emissions in Mass they do hook stuff up to the tailpipes, and I know that aftermarket exhaust is illegal, but they don't care to much about that. You most likely do need cats to pass. What shop did you call?
