I have a Hurst and I really like it although on a cold day it seems to be easy to grind the gears if you are shifting fast until it warms up. I'll have to try to change out the fluid w/ some Royal Purple. BTW zero rattles here.

I got the Hurst mainly for the looks. It will deffinitely rattle if you don't use something like locktite and tighten it up very well. I didn'y use any the first time and it would start to loosen up after a few days but it's all good now. No problem with grinding though, it feels great.

locktite isnt goin to help the pivot ball rattle you will need some good grease to spray in there
