Default Anyone Carry Their Tuners in Their Cars??

I was filling up today and almost grabbed the 87 oct nozzle instead of the 93 oct. If I had, I would have had to call my wife, describe what a tuner is, where it was at, have her drive it to me, exlain why I was paying for 93 oct., etc. So, should I be carrying my tuner in the car, i.e storing it in the trunk? Will the extreme cold affect it (we got to -21 F this winter) or, more likely, the hot temperatures when parked in the sun all day at work during the summer? Thanks!

Mine NEVER leaves my glove box unless it's plugged in.

I usually keep it in the glove box but right now it's in my passenger seat.

I should probably get a lower octane tune for the just in case moments. Right now I have two 91 Race tunes (one has different shift points I'm testing out) and the third is a 93 Torque tune.

Thanks guys!,

It looks like all of you are from areas that are as hot or hotter than where I live....I'll start keeping it in my car.

Also a good idea to keep some extra fuses. Never know when the tuner will blow one

That's one thing I have been doing is keeping the 87 tune stored in case of emergencies....

Also, how do you like the 93 torque tune? - I have the 93 Race and was curious how they compare, if it was worth buying.

Ya, I've been stressing about that also!. I actually had the owners manual out last night looking at the fuses ....I'll have to go to the autoparts store and pick up a combination of them.
