Right now I want some more power. Once i get into the 12's i'll start messing with the suspension. But my long term goal is 11's N/A and a suspension setup for Autocross. But that's pretty long term lol we're talking years. By time that happens this will no longer be my daily driver :-P

I want to keep my 3.31s because I don't want to shift to 4th once I start trapping that high of speeds. Once i've gotten to the point I have to shift.. i'll swap to 3.73s or 4.10s. :-P[/QUOTE

Well....lots of luck !!
I know, i'm kind of picky lol And N/A 11s is possible... Rench came really close running a 12.029 all motor with manual and 3.55 gears

yea u should change gears. it will be quicker and you'll feel like ur being thrown in the seat compared to the 3.31.

axel backs are a nice bolt on upgrade. they dont add much power but make it sound faster haha. i vote borla! ill be adding bbk shorties and mangaflow hi-flow catted X when the weather warms up/

Gears all the way - there is no question.

If you want to ignore that, go with UDP's and a driveshaft.

I agree with the 4:10 gears. Otherwise, Long Tube headers, x-pipe with hi-flow cats or cams.

If you are planning on getting cams, then you will want gears. Most cams will loose a little in the lower RPM ranges, but steeper gears such as 4.10s make up for the lose.

If memory serves about $550-$900 for cams themselves, depending on what you want. Your guess is as good as mine on install, I haven't taken a car to a shop or dealership in a very very long time, other than alignments etc...knock on wood

I wonder how I lucked out w/ 3.55s in mine stock. I thought it was base gearing for the 5 spd but I keep seeing 5 spds with 3.31s

I think it was '05 and '06 that 3.55s were standard, then 3.31 became standard and 3.55 was an option. I might have the years wrong, but I know at LEAST '05 they were standard. Now the '10 I think they are 3.73 Standard. I know the Bullet came with 3.73 standard.
