Well, if you get a good set of lighter 18" wheels, you get a little extra show and you can probably find better performing tires which will increase your go as well. I'd stay away from the black wheels, but that's just personal preference. At that point if there's things about the car visually that you think can be improved on (centered fogs, f'rinstance) then start considering those. Don't just change stuff for the sake of looking flashy.

This is not to be offensive in any way just opinion but to me, silver can be a relatively boring color. Throw on some really nice wheels. That upgrade will be the best bang for the buck. I take off my chrome wheels for the winter and my car looks terrible without them. It's amazing what wheels alone can do for our cars.

I like option # 2. That white GT looks killer.

Trends do come and go. Cool thing about wheels is they can be removed and changed.

I got tired of chrome and just changed it up.

Majority opinion is for some show mods which obviously is what I was thinking too. I really want wheels and tires as they provide both but my problem is deciding which ones to get as whichever I choose will dictate the rest of the exterior mods.

I have really narrowed it down to 2 looks but I can never decide.

If I got the Black wheels I would end up with Roush front end, center fog light grille, Steeda Cowl Rise hood, Steeda sidewinder stripes, Agent 47 mirrors, & GT 500 rear spoiler.

I like this look alot but as I said I dont think it is as timeless. I am only 27 thought so I figure I can pull it off unlike someone in their 40's. No offense.

The other look if I went bullitts would end up being just like the white car;
CS bumper, C series hood, Agent 47 mirrors, GT-500 spoiler, painted stripes.

This is timeless IMO and will age well but I wouldnt do any of that paint work till the car needs repainted and or is retired from DD duty.

Those would be the ultimate goal in the short term the car with the black wheels would look very different from stock, while the Bullitts would look fairly stock.

I dont really do car shows for Trophy's but I would like something that when I pull into one people notice and think it should be there as apposed to the 100% stock look.

Thanks for the input guys. Keep it coming.

Mustang0405, 27 man time is on your side. plenty of time for other go mods. Get the wheels and tires staggered with the 305's out back. If your concerned about wieght then check out wheelreplicas.com they make some pretty lite wheels.

Yeah thought about that but I can only put down so much power with a 255/50/17. Thought about running an M&H DR on the street but with the amount of rain we get in FL I would hate to wrap it around a tree or hit another car and end up totalling my baby. That would stink.

Which brings me back to new wheels and tires but like I said which ever I choose impacts how I go about the external mods to the car.

I havent done my taxes yet so I will just wait and see if I owe any money and decide from there.

Honestly choosing wheels is harder than choosing FI.

I would say rims/tires. I was in the same boat (except no whipple lol). I was wondering to buy another performance mod. I too think the sleeper thing is cool but sometimes you want to look the part as well. I went with rims and just got them. I couldn't be happier!

BTW how do the resonators work out for you. I have a lot of rasp and trumpeting, how did they help? Thanks
