Default What tires are you running and what kind of driving do you do?

I am running the stock pirelli's right now and am looking to upgrade.

I don't drag race but do a lot of cornering and long highway drives. Looking for people that do similar types of driving and have some good tires for this.

Any advice? I am looking at some Goodyear's and Bridgestones right now. Tires will not be used in the winter.

Rikken Raptor ZR 255/50/17

I do all types of driving from long highway commutes to road course events. Tires have a high traction rating and hold up well in the turns. Since they fit nicely on the stock rims, the weight stays low.

I just got KDWs yesterday, and so far theyre not bad at all. Esp for the price.

I drive very aggresive on the streets, and get sideways every now and then

255/45-18 BFGoodrich KDW2s on 18x8.5" rims.
$190 a piece mounted and balanced.
Shoulda coulda woulda got the 275/40-18 for
the same revs/mile as stockers but 20mm more
tread over the 255/45-18s.
Much better than the stock OEM BFGs or Pirellis.

I have the Eagle F1 A/S's. Definately a big improvement over the stock BFG's.

I have the Nitto 555s and am not impressed. 285s I took them to the track and could not get traction for ****. 1-2shift blows the tires away! They need a solid burnout to hook
